The purpose of the Academy is organization, performance and coordination of scientific researches in the field of technical aesthetics and design and introducing of their results in learning process and practical activity of Russian and foreign specialists.

To achieve them the Academy carries out the fundamental and applied researches in the field of design and culture. It realizes learning, and expert activity in the field of design, technical aesthetics and culture. It publish scientific, educational, and information literature.
